These are such a favorite in our home that even my children fight over them. If you’re someone who says that you simply do not like Brussels Sprouts, but are open to giving them one more try. I highly recommend this recipe and method! The balsamic vinegar caramelizes on the sprouts, transforming them into a delightful treat!
Ingredients:
2 lbs Brussles Sprouts
3 strips of nitrate-free bacon
1/4 cup raw cashews or pistachios
1/4 Balsamic Vinegar
1/4 tsp sea salt
Pre-heat oven to 400 degrees.
Cup the brussels sprouts in half, length-wise and place in large bowl. Cut the bacon into small, bite-sized pieces, and chop the cashews. Add the bacon and cashews to the bowl, and mix until combined. Pour the balsamic vinegar over the mixture in the bowl, add the salt, and mix until everything is combined. Spread out evenly over onto a baking sheet. Bake at 400 for about 25 minutes, until bacon is crispy and the sprouts are browned. Enjoy!
